Learn how to design a compost toilet and grey-water system which is easy to install, saves you money every day, produces rich compost, is safe and hygienic, doesn't smell, saves thousands and thousands of litres of water per year, produces timber and reeds for mulching. Such a system is also desirable because it breaks the conventional cycle of flushing nutrients through expensive pipelines to sewage plants, at considerable cost to the environment through pollution and the waste of water resources. The course will help you through the principles, the construction and the beaurocratic red tape involved. . You can also use and inspect in detail two of the State's best systems, which incorporate a Swedish-designed Clivus Multrum composting toilet, reedbeds, irrigation systems, a bamboo plantation and orchard watered with recycled grey and black water.
