If
you have a PDC but no teaching or training qualifications
Vital elements in obtaining registration are:
1. Upgrading of your PDC to either the new accredited
Certificate
IV or Diploma level. You can only teach at, or below, the level of
the accredited permaculture qualification you have yourself. Upgrading
will involve Recognition
of your Current Competencies (RCC), also known as Recognition of Prior
Learning (RPL) plus possibly the completion of some extra study or project
work.
2. Completion of the Course Orientation Workshop
(COW) which explains curricula, material and assessment practices
3. The Certificate 4 in Training and Assessment
4. A memorandum
of agreement with a Registered Training Organisation chosen by Permaculture
International to auspice accredited permaculture training
5. Be a member of Permaculture International:

6. Apply
to Permaculture International for APT trainer registration and fill
out the units you are qualified or experienced to teach, showing evidence
If you have
a PDC and a Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment or a Certificate
IV in Training and Assessment or have done a Creative Adult Learning Facilitation
course (CALF)
Vital elements in obtaining registration are:
1. Upgrading of your PDC to either the new accredited
Certificate
IV or Diploma level. You can only teach at, or below, the level of
the accredited permaculture qualification you have yourself. Upgrading
will involve Recognition
of your Current Competencies (RCC, also known as RPL, recognition of
Prior Learning) and possibly the completion of some extra study or project
work.

which, complete with assessment will take 3 days
3. A memorandum
of agreement with the Registered Training Organisations chosen by Permaculture
International to auspice accredited permaculture training.

to Permaculture International for APT Trainer registration and fill
out the units you are qualified or experienced to teach, showing evidence.
If
you have a PDC and teaching qualifications other than the Cert IV in Workplace
Training and Assessment, Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or CALF
(such as BEd, Advanced Permaculture Teaching workshops, Creative Facilitation
Intensive workshops or Dynamic Groups Training) or have been training others
professionally but have no training qualification

IV or Diploma level. You can only teach at, or below, the level of
the accredited permaculture qualification you have yourself. Upgrading
will involve Recognition
of your Current Competency (RCC), also known as Recognition of Prior
Learning (RPL) plus possibly the completion of some extra study or project
work.
2. Completion of theCourse Orientation Workshop

3. Recognition of your competency to teach to
the level of the Certificate IV in Workplace Training & Assessment
needs to be established via Recognition
of Current Competency (also known as Recognition of Prior Learning,
RPL).

International to auspice accredited permaculture training.
